Did you remove the cold start injector, or the cold start injector thermo switch?

I am confused, as simply switching turbo's should would not have required these parts to be touched.

    cheers Chuck.

Have a good look at the water temp senders at the front of the engine, and make sure the plugs are all connected.

Or take it back to the workshop, and tell 'em not happy Jack.

    cheers Chuck.

Photo of said hose and surrounding area please.

Your idle control is completely independant to the turbos. You say your turbos have stuffed seals though... so thus you may in fact be putting too much oil into the intake, which won't be a problem once things are warm, but can play havoc when cold.

Also check the oxygen sensor, did they move that?? They may have broken the internal heater and it is just taking too long to warm up.

Further to that, if no resolution, GET A BLOODY MATE TO DRIVE IT BACK TO THE WORKSHOP IF YOU CAN'T!! If it idled well when you took it there, then it should idle well when it comes back. Fullstop.

my bad i was thinking off fast idle not cold start, some throttle bodies use the water for fast idle, when the water is warm it idles back down.
