You've got a 3S-FE right ?
Does anybody know this for sure?
I need to change oilpan to my SXV10 Camry(allmost rusted through)
There are heaps more 3S-## oilpans, 5S-FE ones are quite rare.
Does the balance shafts need more space, or do they fit inside 3S pan and is the bolt patters even same?
Thanks

Hi, Im enthused about corollas..
Yeah the 3S-GE one will fit, however a 3S-FE oil pan probably wont. i think 3SFE usually has a sump gasket, whereas 5S-FE and 3S-GE/GTE oil pans just use goo.
As for the balance shafts - well you've got them right there, have a look to see how far they intrude into the sump and take a guess![]()

measure the clearances on your pan, then go to a wrecker and measure the clearances on the proposed new pan... that will be the only way to know for sure.

Yeah probably save yourself a bunch of time rather than waiting weeks for some guy who actually has done this before to reply![]()
