    Default what psi should boost cut be on gen 2 3s-gte ??

    as per title
    what psi should boost cut be on a gen 2 3s-gte with stock ecu ?? SW20 if it makes a difference.

    should be around 12psi

    hmm interesting, ive run 15psi so far and still no boost cut to be seen.
    Got a boost cut defender here waiting to wire in......

    if the hose isn't connected to the Turbo Pressure Sensor the boost cut will be removed entirely.

    Serious!!! thats only a sensor for the factory gauge though yeah?? Surely i dont need that hooked up for anything else??

    Well thats why i have no boost cut then.

    Who wants to buy a brand new GREDDY boost cut defender hehe

    The only other thing is the the guage on the dash.

    doesn't need to be hooked up for anything, it won't put the car into limp mode, but it means you have no protection for huge overboosting

    some think it might be used as a load sensor for the engine, but i never noticed any difference in power, and the dyno didn't either.

    well i guess that solves my boost cut problem that i havent experienced yet hehe

    The motor is in a AW11 mr2 so there was no need to hook up that sensor anyway, which is why it didnt recieve a vac line.

    Answers my question though
