Default Mods please delete - noob mistake

I was up in shapperton this weekend for my sisters engagement and she lives across the road from a wreckers. Went and had a look today by the off chance they had any old school celica bits. Came across a 2t engine sitting in a shed, seemed to be in pretty good condition but couldnt find the celica it belonged to. Anyway it had quite an interesting flwheel on it, so i decided i might aswell give it a new home as i thought it was one of the toda racing ones but it turns out it looks quite different (http://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/prod...wheel/2tg.html) :
(the scraches on it are just from a bit of sandpaper i used)

This thing is very very light in conjunction with the stock item. My question is has anyone seen one like this before or could this be a custom job?
    Cheers, Joey

EDIT: The writing in gold texta was from the douche bag at the wreckers who thought the engine was from a mazda so just ignore it.... hmmm makes me wonder about these country folk tho

I was offered one to buy when I was doing the manual conversion on mine, so that one isn't unique... I can't find the pics of it right now, but it definitely looked the same... Maybe a 2TG aftermarket performance part??

Doesn't look like a flywheel to me, Looks like a flex plate for a automatic transmission.

There is no clamping area for a clutch plate.

Joey to me it doesn't look like a manual flywheel at all but in fact a flex plate from an automatic transmission. This is mostly because it doesn't have any surface for the clutch to rub against...

and where would the clutch go?
its not like the friction disc is going to go over those gaping holes

if you get a fancy alloy flywheel made up for a small diamerter tilton twin plate clutch or similar..
you might be able to use it as the ring gear for the starter
