toyota EL30 corsa, Good ~ Bad, Ugly?

just wondering if anyones had any experiance with these things? EL30/31 corsa/corolla GP/ tercel? ive seen a few around for sale and one in person and i quite like the look my sefl (espically the two tone black/grey) and would love an ep71 but i dont like my chances of finding a stock one.

knowing theres a welth of info on the engines and ive read places that the ep71/82 starlet suspension slots in (unconfirmed tho) is there any unique problems with these? how do they handel etc...

sorry but ive only started looking it to these so i havnt completly searched this topic just yet, but there wasnt much on toymods.... back to google!!!

they are basically a Tercel chassis, no?

for a small car i reckon they look ok, and not so common.. but iut is stil lfwd shopping trolley. no idea on specifics of handling, but it is probably safe to assume "poor" and work from there

if you are upping power, it might be good to find out what gearbox and driveshafts it eats

lolz... apperently there pretty strong from what ive read so far... but again "unconfirmed"

im assuming it will be on the same basis as the EP71/EP82 so theres a couple of them around the place being wrecked im sure. they run the 3FFTE so motors wont be to hard to find but what are the internal parts like to purchace?

yeah, same chassie as the trecel, i think trecel was the american name while japan called it the corsa... also this has some relationship to the paseo as well... i think there el43's no?

had a look thru the AU starlet forum and theres not much on them either... strange...

apperently there was only 6000 corolla Gp/ corsa turbos ever made so i guess thats why info is a bit hard to find
