    Default RA23 Steering conversion

    Hey guys,

    Sorry to add another post about rack and pinion. Didn;'t want to clutter someone elses thread with my dribblings.

    On one of my recent wreckers walk arounds, I noticed an RA40 with rack and pinion fitted sitting there on the crossmember.

    I gather this is not a factory item and someone has done the conversion?

    RA40 and RA23 use the same crossmember, so my question is everything else the same? TieRods etc?

    where did you see this conversion set-up? would be half interested in grabbing it if you were not that keen

    RA40 has wider track than *23 - but where it allows for that at the front i don't know.
