Well It was a grat day out, perfect weather with nt a cloud in the sky.

We first meet up at Parra park and then head via the M4 and GW HWY, to Katoomba to where we headed to Catalina Park. After some investigation we managed to get on the track for some nice however very slow laps.

From Katoomba we headed west up the moutains and head home via Bell and the Bells Line of Road.

All in all a great afternoon.

Thanks for an awesome Cruise Stitt.

Getting to take a cruise around the track was an unexpected bonus (so much better than walking around)

Apparently the track didn't close till the 1990's !

Door-to-door racing ended back at the start of the 70's didn't it? But the track stayed on for time-trials and the like until the 80's.
