Got a PM from Jason Broadhurst from Performance Forums, he's tried to register here twice and got knocked back twice for some reason. He's filled out all the spaces in the form correctly (he tells me) so what's the problem?

OMG - Winner of the Official "Forum Comment of the Week"!
Guys.... the rules are simple.
All we ask for registration on this forum are the same details we ask of our paying members.
The most common reasons for rejected applications is lack of a full name and complete address. This means we need you first and last name, street number, street, suburb and postcode.
This helps to keep the quality of the forums at a much higher level than previously experienced, whilst also encouraging the honesty factor![]()
We're happy for people to try again, and as long as all details are all there, we'll approve the application.
Hope this helps to clear the air

I do remember Norbie asking me exactly that about one of his friends and we had to go back and forth 3 times before things like "Name - First and Last" were not misinterpreted.
In case any is wondering (again), we simply are not in a position to email every applicant asking for missing information because that would literally take a full day to do each week to cover all the applications we receive. They can, however, email the board when they submit their application and we'll reply asking for whatever we require, should the above advice be insufficient.
Peter and Bill, it would be helpful if you passed this on to anyone that asks you about it.

Noted,
I've had friends say the same thing to me "yeah I filled out everything correctly" and I'm really persistent and tell them it has to be full and correct details so they're obviously missing something.
Hi,
I do a lot of the processing for applications lately.
About half the people do not fill out all the information. They put in bullshit address like 123 Fake St, Fakesville. They put in one name only like "J" or something stupid.
I do not reject applications that are filled in properly.
Quite frankly, it's not a difficult thing to fill in properly, and if you can't do such a simple form, or you think you're too good or important to fill it out, then fuck off.
They're not the sort of twits we need on these forums. We got enough twits as it is.![]()

I wasnt aware there was this kind of screening for applications. Sounds like it works really well though - filters out the idiots before they can even sign ongood stuff guys.
Would it help to add a note on the sign-up form explaining that the information filled out is MANUALY checked by a PERSON, and material thats obviously fake is rejected? or is that already on there and people are even stupider than first thought.

+rep for that dude, I hate hearing people complain about the piss easy online form that they have to fill in to get onto Toymods. Follow the rules and there is no problem. It's good to know that other people do actually agree with it and see it's benefit.Originally Posted by adamaw11
When I first applied I used a legitimate Mob phone No. and legitimate post office box No., this was knocked back, Later when I applied again I used my home address and home phone No. and this was approved.
