Or take the radiator out and give kieth at Rapid Radiators a ring.
Does the mobile radiator repairs etc so should be able to help you out.
My sig has been pruned as it was over 5 lines long.

    Default radiator hole

    hi

working on my hiace's radiator the other day. i managed to snap off the little metal hose line that comes out the top of it. i dont have much to spend and sourcing a second hand radiator is proving difficult.

is there any way i can just block the hole off... the hose that it joins to connects about half way along the tube where the cooled down water goes.

just wondering what i can use to plug it up?

    any help is appreciated
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Is said hole for the transmision? If so, you shouldnt have to plug it, just plug your transmission (if its auto) so you dont loose all your oil...

If not, tape meassure and a day at the wrecker to find something that might/will fit?

    Cheers,

Take it down to a radiator repair place and they should be able to solder it for you pretty quickly (and cheaply! ).
They call them fingers.... but i've never seen them fing!!!!
