i have been looking into doing adjustable links for my suspension.
basically ive come to the conclusion that if i can get a clevis with a 5/8" threaded section with a 1/2"/5/8" hole (slot can be less but theyre usually the same thickness as the diam' of the hole), i will have enough sheer strenght (i think)to build castor links with out having to have any welded parts.
does anyone know where i can source one or if this configuration is even available?
what im thinking is a flat plate bolted to the LCA with 3 holes. 2 for the stock mount, and one for the clevis.
also related, whats peoples opinion on 7/8" o.d .065" wall thickness tubes for the arm? strong enough? i will dig up the specs on the material and edit.
obviously this part is under alot of stress so feel free to tell me if im way of the track.
