Seriously. Thats a friggin long way and we did come to Kiama the easter you guys organised a meet down there, we had 5 cars come ALL the way from Newie. But we had the luxury of staying overnight. As this is a one day thing.......well do I need to explain. And I was more than happy to come down to Homebush and see you all off.Originally Posted by Joshstix
Having said that, Thankyou for changing the location, I will be there most definately, and if mum will have the ferals then so will Grant, otherwise it'll be me and my baby. Its a sad state of affairs when you can't go cruisin as often as you used too, and like Steve we also have other commitments that don't involve the car, the nationals or toymods. The fact that its a dedicated classic celica cruise just makes it even more special for me anyway
I'm pretty sure Woronora Damn Road is still closed Rod, But I'll take a drive on Saturday to find out for you.
That's what the signs on the Highway told me on the drive back from Sydney last weekend.
I'd suggest somewhere in the Southern Highlands like Bowral or Moss Vale as it's almost exactly half way between Newy and Canberra
Dang I missed this one last year and was in a foul mood for a week because of it. All your great photos didn't help either.........
Well it just so happens that I finally return to Aus in mid may and will be in Sydney that weekend so damn it I am gonna do my darndest to make it.
So who has a spare seat?
Hi,
You can ride with me in the 25 if you want, oh handsome one.
I don't think Riverina will mind surrendering her seat for your exalted self.
Update: I mentioned this to Riverina and a I got a pout. So, maybe she wants to come along, which is unusual as it's not really her thing, but maybe the sight of a whole bunch of classic celicas even stirs her loins too. She also said, "What about Trini?" Brilliant, I thought!!! So, my handsome friend, Trini is available for your use also, if you desire. Yeah, she's just an old auto 18R-C unit, but she's still a classic, you can bring your missus or someone, it has working air-con, an am radio and that glorious power-bulge. Let me know what you decide.

dylan, the website posted up above says the road will be closed on weekdays for pretty much the entire year, but still open on weekends if someone wanted to do a drive by and check though i'm sure it would be appreciated
Dylan,
I spoke to the Sydney Water department that looks after the Dams and the local council office to make sure all was ok.
The Dam is closed monday to Friday for basically all of 2008 for upgrades to the access roads but the dam is still open on the weekends.
I am hoping that public perception is its completely closed and we might just end up with the place to ourselves.

Well it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for others as well
Sounds like a nice plan, happy to take a drive up there on Sat and scope it out though if you want. It's only about 25 minutes away for me.
Your a gracious man River. If you trust me with that beautiful car I would be thrilled to accompany Trini to the event.......
I might struggle with the power after the GT4 but I will try and
