Well guys sorry for the really short notice there was some confusion on my half, I thought there was going to be a event this month and not a cruise.

Where: Dobroyd Head (Near Manly)
When: 12:00 Sat 19th April
Meeting: Homebush Carpark P6

Ok the idea of this cruise is a nice lazy Sat afternoon drive.
We'll meet at Homebush Olympic Park, carpark P6 at 11 for a 11:30 leave. With the aim of getting to Dobroyd by 1.00 for a lateish lunch.

What to bring: As per usual your Cb set to channel 16, Some small change for the BBQ and some fold up chairs or a pinic blanket wouldn't go a stray.

There are toliets at the park and there is plenty of parking available.

I'm hoping this will be a great afternoon to lazy in the sun. I'll have my camera and we will get some great back drops for some car shots.

There are some awsome views out towards the heads this spot has some great views.

The Route:
R out the car park along Australia Ave to Homebush Bay Drive
L onto Homebush bay drive, this turns into Mona Vale Road. (re group on Mona Road)
R into Forrest Way
L Warringah Road
R Wakehurst Parkway
Quick Stop off for re group half way down the hill
Wakehurst Parkway turns into Frenches Forrest road
(we follow the signs to Manly at this point)
then into Sydney road.
Maps on the day will show the roads up to the head land.

Should be a great day out it is a pinic spot with a view, so I hope to see you out

its is a national park but I'm sure i have seen dogs in there before

The top part at the oval where we are probably won't be a prob but I 'd say rangers wouldn't like you taing the dog ut into the bush

yea was a good day, a fun relaxing drive , few pics n then lunch at the oaks, a good saturday arvo. thanx for coming up from canberra stitty , post up the pics of the lux for me when u get a chance
