can anyone tell me how the clip up the top of this boot comes off? dont really want to resort to tearing it, but there must be a way!

car is a JZA70 if that helps

is it round with two holes at the end of it?

if so its a circlip and requires circlip pliers...none of which we have at home

its a small plastic ring. its ok, i used some WD40 and pulled it off all good.

haha yeah old school jap, even gives you the names of the jap radio stations when you reset it (fuji fm etc)
