by all means its been done lots of all times, most of the gte parts can be used, ie manifold, injectors.
Not sure how the standard afm would work for fueling, may need aftermarket ECU.
has anyone had any good outcomes with turboing a N/A 7m... if it was to have block and head decked and thick metal headgasket then a mild boost single turbo setup on it wat does anyone have any thoughts on the outcome... would it be worth it or would swapping a 7mgte be easier and more effective??? its just as a means to get by till a 1j conversion...

for tuning was going to just use SAFC mounted just before the throttle body and a fuel pressure reg...
could work, just dyno/wideband O2 to check the AFR's ;-)

Just save the cash and time for the 1J conversion.
What you describe is quite possible/doable, but it will still be a fair bit of work.
Even doing it getto-style will still cost 2-3K all-up.
Having been down most of these roads myself in the past-In my opinion you're better off saving the cash and doing the 1J conversion a bit sooner.
My 2 cents anyway.

i think i know the waiting till 1j conversion is smarter... just 7m power is ghey... especially in N/A form... o well suppose i just need a more violent clutch to get it out in 3rd gear![]()
