ntk 5 wire lamda sensors

is any one on here using a 5 wire wide band oxy sensor at all .i have been using a bosch lmu 4.2 that comes from the vt comodore but they seem to shit them selfs very quickly even on unleaded ,they are rated at 500 hrs im lucky to get 3 months out of these
was looking at a ntk eugo sensor to see if these are better
any imput will be good imput on these as there is not a lot of info

"Both the MoTeC M400/600/800/880 and the MoTeC PLM are capable of operating with either the NTK UEGO or the Bosch LSU-4 5 wire wide band sensors. Of the two, the NTK is most accurate. It is a true laboratory grade sensor. Its accuracy has been found to be about 1.5% better than that of the Bosch LSU. Additionally the NTK has a better response time than does the LSU again about 1.5%. The NTK is the benchmark against which the LSU is measured.

The advantage of the LSU sensor is its lower price compared to the NTK. If you are doing very precise and accurate laboratory type testing, the NTK is the sensor for you. Both sensors have a life expectancy of 500 hours on unleaded fuels and that number is diminished to 50 hours using leaded fuels. Lambda Sensors are very similar to spark plugs with respect to their estimated life expectancy.

Spark Plugs are designed to last 40,000 miles under optimum circumstances but they can be damaged in less than 1 mile by misuse. A lambda sensor can be thought of the same way. Misuse by overly rich mixtures, high temperatures, overtightening or dropping can have a very negative effect on lambda sensor life. Like spark plugs, lambda sensors cannot be returned under warranty."

where is the O2 sensor in the zorst (e.g. how far from the head) - too close and they bork (heat and vibration).

are you allowing it to heat up before trying to run the engine? some of the msefi bike riders up here warm the sensor up (engine off) before going for a drive/test

Fuel: is there any lead in it or weird levels of silicon?

Are your logs showing the sensor getting too hot? mine (LSU 4.2 with LC1 controller) usually stays up at something weird like 20:1 when it's got too hot.

WBO2 has the bosch product PDF and it says:

Exhaust gas at sensor element: ≤ 930°C
Hexagon of the sensor housing: ≤ 570°C

Maximum temperatures (max. 250 h accumulated over lifetime)
Exhaust gas at sensor element: ≤ 1030°C
Hexagon of the sensor housing: ≤ 630°C

no it has fast heat to come on after start up so thats no problem ,,im wondering if its the hi rpm that is killing it as i use 95 lambda for 40 % throttle going up to 92 lambda at full throttle

and the sensor is about 1.1 metres away from the exhaust port

Make sure it isn't getting affected by water... They hate water. I've killed a couple of these sensors myself, they can be a bit fragile.

what direction is the sensor pointing? so water can condense and run into it when stuff cools or during startup?
