I like the idea of a motorkhana. The one at the Toyota Nationals went off.
And this would be one a much better surface which is a lot kinder to cars.

BTW, Sat only for me (but with notice)

this is nothing like a motorkhana, kahanas are low speed event.
with this skid pan day, at the end of one of the course's in GU11TY's car, we were doing over 120+ks, down the straight of the skid pan,

(motorkahans are still mad fun, but cant be compared to this skid day)

oran shits all over eastern creek also!

Time is priceless yet it costs us nothing.
You can do anything you want with it but you can't own it.
You can spend it but you can't keep it.
And once you've lost it, there is no getting it back, it's just gone."

    it's a lot cheeper on a weekday !!!

but these days cost a few thousand so you need a big balance to get a day happening !!

and with public liability prices have gone up a fair bit !!!

also if you can organise a good day you will get people back, the first one i went to we had a 50 cars but it was so unorganised that we each got about 5 min of driving for the whole day !! and at $200 each that's $40 a min we paid to thrash our cars !!

you need to look at having a few people there who aren't going to drive but be willing to set up courses and organise people to make the day flow and ensure that everyone gets a good day of driving !!

If its the same guy that ran the last one, there were 20 odd guys, 220 each to go, and got so much time in, ended up with courses that had a few cars running at the same time, (safely of course) so there wasnt alot of time spent waiting, + a free bbq!

    Hey guys,

I am trying to make it as cheap as possible for everyone,
but Public Liability Insuarance is the killer right now.
Waiting back on a few quotes today so I can let everyone know the eventual cost
    per person.

We will try and limit this day to 24 cars, 2 groups of 12 will go out hopefully.
MOST people who have PM'd me are keen for a weekend due to work commitments.

    Cheers,
    Bart
