What else am i missing?
provided you know the right persons and word all the modifications correctly pretty much anything can be passed if its well thought out.

Anyhow, organising a 5 stage to replace it. Either that or pay another grand for another Weiss 6 stage. What do you reckon?? 4 or 5 should be enough right?
4 or 5 stage will be plenty, dont pay thru the cakehole for it (im sure you wont)

ed_jza80 has not made any friends yet
dry sump oil pump i guess - what does Google say?
just because the guards are that wide doesnt mean it has to run wheels that wide to be engineered hence still being able to pass the width/track regulationsOriginally Posted by 9000rpm
Once he gets back from engineering its game on with the massive wheels!!!!
Love this shit ay, dunno if i love it enough to take to my cameleon JZA80 with a plasma cutter........but ya never know
Im assuming that Lindens workshop too? some nice cars look to be in there good stuff!

Short on a full respray, how on earth would you match the colout of it? And what do you do for scratches?Originally Posted by Wildsupra

well the last owner managed to nudge the front bar into a curb, as such they resprayed the bar in another cameleon colour and continued with a kinda strip up the bonnet and a stripe type thingy down each side to make it look like a deliberate pattern, which actually worked perfectly. However i unable to repair any scratches etc
car is being stripped to bare metal. no need for colour matching.
Linden, starter motor arrived today. Also, i'm taking 2 weeks off at the end of this week. Should have plenty of time to hang around the workshop (at least after the wife goes to sleep so i can sneak out).

I love those pumped guards, absolutely UNREAL...
And you need the number plate once finished BATMBL and paint it blakc..
Edit: Also, what sort of torque curve are you expecting from this?
I know it's a V12, but it's pretty small at 5L... (I'm just comparing against the current V8s around here) so my mind is saying it either has really small stroke to rev hard, or most likely, to make it a nicely sized motor, it has a longer stroke, but smaller bore... So going long stroke = more torque, but smaller bore = less torque... Just wondering what the expected power output is going to be, and what the torque curve (Not power, but torque) should be like?
hmm... i wonder if a mod can merge threads....
near square bore vs stroke
aming for around 500rwkw once turbo'd.... but who knows when that will happen. Gonna cost enough to get it runnning first....
who knows what the torque curve will be like... but it has plenty even without the turbo's.
That's cool, I guess it's hard to try and guage what these engines will do with not too many floating around yet.Originally Posted by 5000gt
As for outright power, once I would have gone " oh wow, 500RWKW" but, that could mean 800newton metres at 4000RPM for example, or 400newton metres at 8000RPM...
I'd rather the earlier... Hence why I was questioning torque mainly... As so many cars have awesome peak power, but shit torque curves and there power is all in the revs... (Which, is what mine is basically setup like... Power comes in around 4000 - 4500RPM and once tuned will peak rev at around 7000RPM) so mashing it down low results in a century going by before I actually start to move...
