Default SX strut bar into AE92 (non SX)

    Folks

I got an SX strut bar off and AE92 which I want to fit my AE92 (no longer 4AFC p00) CSX.
I'm devoid of the two nuts (aside from the one installing) in the panel under the windscreen where it bolts to.

Any thoughts on how to do this, I'm thinking of removing the wiper assy and putting nut/bolt thru there with the nut on the outside not the inside as per factory?

    Thoughts/comments?

Much easier is to leave the wiper assembly in, and just remove the air intake vents. Then pop the bolt down on the inside.
Having the nut on the outside or inside will make buckleys of difference.

If you really want to do it properly just weld or attach a nutsert.

the problem is though the the bit of metal (top of the fire wall)
is so thin and flexabull it is pointless puting the strut bar/brace onto it.
that why i made my own and put a plate behind it..

this is what i wanted to do..

the AE92 has to big pipes on each side (passenger and drivers side)
inside the vent (fire wall) up top
i was thinking of runing a 36mm thick bar from one side to the other
then ad the rest to it...eg the triangulating thing..
but ran in to some problems

can't go straight across not enough clearance between the air filter and hood and my wiper motor arm was in the way for the bar right across from passenger and drivers side.
so we made a plate to go on to the fire wall bit and fabricated two little things to go round the top of the strut.
I will take some more pic if eny one wants them i might do a little write up but i didn't take the camera with me so no "in the process pic"
    and before eny one says

er why didn't just get a sx/gti one..
    this is why..
    old water pipe: $0
    old bits of steal:$0
having a brother in-law as a master fabricator: priceles.....

    and a bit of paint..
Time is priceless yet it costs us nothing.
You can do anything you want with it but you can't own it.
You can spend it but you can't keep it.
And once you've lost it, there is no getting it back, it's just gone."

Uh, that piece of metal is right above a main structural weld in the firewall. Its anything but flimsy. Plus its reinforced back to the windscreen and around on each side. Its not going anywhere.
