I currently 87 soarer wid a 1gg twin turb. Was looking to get a 2jz twin conversion. The thing that got me thinking is the electrical side of things and the mounting. I got a half cut frm a aristro and wanted to keep the existing digital dash.
Any heads up would be appreciated.

Dori dori is the member that DazbaVBz is referring to. He was the editor of Zoom and socumented a 2JZ VVTi transplant into his MZ20 Soarer.
You will need a rear sump as opposed from the front sump off the Aristo - try and do a swap with someone if you want to keep it.
Wiring will depend on what you want to achieve. Keeping the factory ecu is a must if you’re going auto as is for engineering (aftermarket can be engineered but complicated). And if you’re car was a manual then it may be a little on the weak side for a 2JZ.
Check out other members rides threads for ideas but you will find that if you go for a JZA70 Supra half cut then everything will bolt in - incl wiring (although it may need some fiddling) and if you get the front half of the tailshaft too. Then you will get the proper tans and can get it all engineered easy before going crazy with mods. Start with that and then bolt on a 2JZ bottom end if required.
Search is your friend…
Also, a MA71 is not a Soarer - and since you have a 1G-GTE (and is the same as gteu - not a gtue) then it would be a GZ20 Soarer (Toyota is the make - not Toyota Soarer).
