    Do they have any AE71s?

Do you have any "pick pay and go" style wreckers in Perth?

There was always at least two KE70s at every "pick pay and go" style wreckers I went to in Melb when I lived there.

Only the Jap AE86's came with power steering racks, and they aren't easy to come by. If you end up buying it, you wont the bottom of the steering column too remember.

It will all come out again for engine bay paint, you can snap away then.

Doubt it. Otherwise people would be using aw11 racks instead of bothering to ship AE86 p/s racks from Japan...

I could be wrong though... Would love to be in this case.

ke70, ae86, ae71, ae86 power and ae71 power are the same. there is heaps on this in here. you might need to do a search. look at turbo28 ride thread and sheepers or mine.

    cheers mat

AE86 power and KE70 manual racks are different. The AE86 p/s rack is physically bigger. Will take a photo some time to prove it.

An AE86 power rack won't bolt straight up to a KE70 cross member is the most important thing to remember.

sorry should have been more specific power racks are the same(well as close as can get), but all three racks will work with the same sort of work done to them with the correct steering arms and tie-rods. should note power racks will sit a bit lower by about 20mm. if you can get a power rack try and get the lines as well because those fittings are an od size but from memory later model st105 celica used the same oil line fittings for the odd sized outlet.

    cheers mat
