    Default turning off notification to replys

    is there a way to do this? i don't want to fill my inbox with e-mail telling me someene has replyed.

    go to
    user cp > edit options > messaging & notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode
    and change to no email notification

    All your existing subscriptions have email notification...

    You need to go into your subscriptions and set each one to no email notification...

    And don't forget, everytime you reply to a thread, you automatically reapply "notifications", so you'll need to delete the subscription again - God knows I do it for the dribble in the GT4 thread often enough!!

    works even better if you choose 'do not subscribe...'

    True, but you don't get that option in the "quick reply" box below each thread.

    I was meaning in the default thread subscription mode in User CP
    Past Toyotas - Snow White (TA23), Blue Stivo (ZZE123)

    But if you choose do not subscribe, then you don't get to see what has been reply to in your User CP...

    I like to know when I have replys to my threads or posts, but I don't want emails...

    Stuff trawling through Toymods to find all the threads that I have recently posted in just to see if I have had a reply...

    No it won't automatically subscribe, but you can choose to subscribe to the threads manually using the 'thread tools' menu at the top of each page.

    I guess I just like to have control over what I subscribe to rather then just subscribe to everything I reply to, no matter how trivial the thread may be.
