    Default Putting 20v heads on 2 litre corona motor.

    Is it possible to do???
    I was told by a friend that they're a straight match.
    I have a 2.4 litre corona avante and if it was possible i was gunna put that motor in the avante. =]

    the 20v head is from a 1.6 4age, a series motor. The 22re is an r series motor and therefore not compatible.

    Your friend is full of it ;-) Do the usual, pod + cai, run 98 octane fuel and advance the timing to get the "most" out of the 22re. Alternatively spend nothing on it and save for your next car (better option)

    maybe a late import corona with some 4a/7a variation. maybe he assumped they all had the same (or based on the same) engine.

    is the only reason i could think of someone would say that.
