Toyota diganostic error code, where can i find them?

Hi

I wonder if anyone knows where i can find the error codes, and what they mean. Like 21 31 22 etc, what do they mean?

is thoose error codes the same for all toyotas or do they vary from for example carmy, corolla celica etc?

does anyone know if this excists online or something?

the codes in refering to is before 1993 i think, where u do the read out on the engine lamp, and the number of flashes.

i have called my toyota dealer but they turned out to be very little helpful when it comes to translete the numbers into what they actually mean.

1 Normal There are no problems. None.
2 Pressure sensor signal Open or short circuit in pressure sensor. Pressure sensor circuit.

5 There is no code 5 (this sounds like the Monty Python "Bruces" sketch!).
6 RPM signal. No Ne, G signal (engine revolution sensor) signal to ECU within several seconds after engine is cranked. No Ne, G signal (engine revolution sensor) signal to ECU within several seconds after engine reaches 1,000rpm. Distributor circuit.

10 Starter signal. No STA signal to ECU when engine is running over 800rpm. Main relay circuit.

Wow, thanks a lot, this is exactly what im looking for.

Does this cover all the toyotas that have this engine lamp blinking system? and is it only Toyota that uses theese codes or will it cover for example nissan too?

I have read that toyotas from 1993 -1996 has another diagnostic system, i guess it doesnt have the engine lamp flash thingy? Do they still use the same codes or is it diffrent?

Google toyota check engine codes and the type of car. Giving only the year is of little help.
