Cooling/Heat Issues

Hey guys, i've had some problems with my car running slightly hotter than normal and heating up very fast when running at operating temperatures. The engine is a 4age, and when stuck in traffic or hot weather (like the last week) its been sitting on 3/4 of the temp. gauge and even hotter when stuck in traffic.

The radiator fan has a dud switch so i've unplugged it to keep it running all the time. The thermostat was replaced when the engine was put it, engine is rebuilt (25000km on it now) and a new radiator has also been fitted about 6months-1year ago. I'm not sure on what could be causing this...any help is appreciated

Id say your radiator is blocked. As i had exact if not very close to the same problem in my ae82.

Heaps cheaper than from a local place too! Like about 200 cheaper.

I have just replaced mine and it never gets over the letter T on temp. I installed a new toyota thermostat at the same time too.
