Have a search of the old forums.
From memory there was 2 or 3 dedicated threads in the tech section to RWD'ing a 3S.
Its not a simplie as bolting on 2SC gear though unfortunately.
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could confirm that 2S engine mounts are the same as the 3S mounts. I have a 2S in my KE55 currently but really want to upgrade. I've read that the mounts are the same but I just want someone to confirm that.
Also, what else can I take off the 2S to help my 3S-GE RWD conversion be a bit easier? I've also read that you need (or can) use the sump and oil pickup, and also the 2S 5 speed manual gearbox bellhousing.
Probably the main question is, will a 3S-GE fit in my engine bay? I'm throwing around a few ideas at the moment engine wise and thought that it might be a good move to use the 3S.
If I decide later on down the track to turbo the motor, will the 3S-GTE fit in my engine bay?
Sorry for all the questions, but any help is much appreciated.

Both the engine mounts from the 2S will not bolt directly on the 3S! The passenger side mount will bolt on fine, but the drivers side wont.
Your 2S sump and oil pickup will be handy, as will the bellhousing if its bolted to a W5x box!
