Extractors and a decent exhaust are about the only worthwhile mods you can do on a small budget. Maybe rig up some kind of CAI system with the stock airbox.

Order the "Super Special JZ Install Kit" Overnight from Japan

But Norbie is right, on a small budget Intake (CAI), Extractors and Exhaust are really the only things.

Depends on what you want to do with it in the long run. If you want to keep it NA then chuck a Wseries in it and it will be fine. But if you want to go tarbo eventually, then stimp up for a R154 with M bellhousing and go from there.

Extra costs is changing the bellhousing over etc afterwards.

Do you think a W series won't handle the power of a turbo 7M....Even with small wheels on the back???? Just waying up the options at the moment.

Wouldnt be as pleasant as a R154. I know Stitty has destroyed a few, as has BlackSoapra.... Perm has done nasties there too if i remember.

I know that if i was going to do it, i would want to do it properly.*

*yes, i know im putting a W58 behind a 2JZGE into my Cressida, doesnt mean its going to be turboed

seriously, the usual cams, better exhaust, free flowing cold air intake will yeild some gains.

probably the best bang for buck mod would be a 7mgte motor + headgasket. people just about throw them out with their dishwater these days

Raise the timing a little bit, that helped mine a bit, but other then that, just the basics, intake/exhuast, thought the intake on the 7M isnt too bad to begin with.
