If I was a spectator with a family I reckon Friday would be the go, wayyyyyyyy less drunk 18yo tryhard dickheads there on Friday than there are on Saturday from about midday onwards.

I'm looking forward to it after missing last year for the first time in a long while.

They have to accrew enough for nose reconstructions as well as feeding his mime family. The dont talk much so they never need much water for their dry mouths.

Yeah, I won't be hanging around long that day.

If it attracts more dipshits than usual I'll just go in and do the driving events and piss off home.

I've never been, I tend to see heaps of nice cars around from that end of Northbourne all the way through to Manuka anyways, I just try to avoid the masses of dunderheads with 9 y.o kids screaming 'Show us ya tits" at me due to being drunk from stealing aforementioned dunderhead parents VB's

Tom, I always say that I reckon everyone who lives in Canberra should experience at least one full Saturday at the Nats just once.

Most of the time you're pissing yourself laughing at the shite that goes on and you'll be amazed at how many rednecks you can get in one place at one time. There are plenty of hell tough and tidy cars there too.

Be sure to head out there Tom and I'll take you for a lap, it's hell funny.

Starting to sound a bit more appealing,

as long as I'm in town I'll don some ruggers and get some sun on the ole chicken stems

Wearing a top is optional, if your pale and burn easy then definitely don't wear one and you'll fit in well. The redder the better by Saturday arvo.

Sunscreen is for poofs so don't wear any of that either. The only time at the Nats you can be seen getting sunscreen is if one of the hot models employed for the weekend by the cancer council is applying it.

I like watching the cars do laps in Braddon in the evening. I'll go do some in the Z. Pity it's mostly stock VN commodores with 18's and some crappy stereo these days, not many good cars go. I remember last year a porsche was doing the laps thing and some drunk dude goes up to the car and shouts "Hey can you do my taxes??" ROFL.

What happened to all the hot rods.

It'd be nice if they stopped all the stock p-plater driven VN's and the like lapping as it's just one big traffic jam on Lonsdale St on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights and only every 5th car is a nice one. The rest are just schleppers out for attention who should just park and watch like the rest of us.
