The Kingston Pub does a "cook your own" steak which is great. Good quality meat cooked the way you want.
A bit more up market is The Verve across the road in Manuka. That does modern Australian.

The workshop is incredibly easy to get to for you guys. It's the route you'd take to the snow.
Take Majura lane off the Hwy just after you enter the ACT. Follow that through to the end, turn right at the lights, then take the next left shortly after, straight through the roundabout. That'll put you onto Dairy Flat Rd. Follow that through to the Monaro Hwy and stay on that for a while, turn off into Hume (Hume is signposted), the workshop is about half way along that main road in Hume (Hume only has one main road as it's an industrial estate).

I can find canberra, beyond that i'm worried i'll get disorientated and accidently end up with a bootload of fireworks and porn.
We'll just make sure we follow everyone else - which will probably end up with the same outcome.
