*Note to self... I must do better burnouts so it looks like my wheels are actually turning.
I'm going out there again this Wednesday. I've got some semi-slicks now and hopefully can do a bit better.
Cheers,Greg.

Looking good there (though you desperately need a new paint job!)
Any reason why you were running without a front lip? What times did it do?
yeah tell me about it
paint on the roof and bonnet are rooted, the boot is ok, just dirty!!!
my quickest time of the night was a 13.3, which was also the first run (and when that top pic was taken)
second run was a 13.6 or thereabouts, and then the 2 runs after that were somewhere in the middle... to be honest i didn't really pay *too* much attention to the timeslips this time!
The issue was the check engine light came on on the 2nd run, and the ecu has gone into some sort of retarded slower mode, i assume to protect things.
the car blew a bit more blue smoke after each run, until on the last run I did, it stalled at the end of the track, and i rolled around to the return lane where it started again, but wasn't happy idling.
it's leaked oil into the engine bay from somehwere, and sprayed it around a little bit (haven't had a proper look yet, haven't made time for it) and i dunno what else is buggered, but it doesn't seem like a happy camper. In fact I moved it last night ..
(with intentions of taking it for a run to give it an italian tune-up and maybe wind in some more boost after resetting the ECU)... but it seemed to be 'choking' when you tried to bring it off idle
I've got another 7mgte in the shed, but I dunno if I can be arsed with another one... oil leaks...smokeyness.... ever present BHG threat... muting the radio beucase you thought that bump in the road was rodknock...
it'll be either that spare 7m, or an n/a toojay.... I dunno which yet!
(either way i want to get the BlueSmokeBandit up and running again on at least 15psi till she don't go no more!)
i should be checking this out, going down orange start of that week, will have the celica, but not much point taking it on the strip
