question: how narky are they about cracked windscreens? i'd like to run my cressida, but atm it's got a whopping big crack on the passenger side of the screen - it's not actually in the driver's field of vision, but it can't be passed off as just a stone chip.

It started small, but grew with a few hot day/cold night cycles. It can't grow any more beucase now the 2 fingers it has, they span from bottom to top. Only on the pass. side though

I honestly dont think you'd have a problem... They check other things really like is the battery secure? Do the brakes work? do u have an overflow bottle? And even then its all done in 2 minutes in a parking shed anyway. Come on down it cant hurt to try.

dirty big crack on the passenger side of the windscreen cant fail your rego, as long as it not in the field of the drivers vission, there no reason why they shouldnt let you,
