for wideband sensor, the thread on the hole needs to be M18x1.5
On my 4agte turbo manifold i would like to install some screw in type brass plugs so i can
monitor the AFR in each of the cylinders and adjust the air fuel ratio.
When i get it dynoed i would do 4 power run's with the exhaust gas analyiser tube in each runner on the turbo manifold and adjust the flow of the injectors? so i get the air fuel ratio's in each cylinder even.
My question is has anybody done this and is it worth doing.
what size plug should be used on the turbo manifold
could a haltech or microtech do the nessary adjustments.
Sorry if this is a noob question i'm just trying to learn and thanks for your input
Cheers mik

1/8th NPT female fittings welded to each runner.
use temp probes in each cyl at the same time and do your adjustments according to the temps, eg hot=leaner, cold=rich
each engine has different temps/mixtures they like to run at and different fuels will vary this also.
only decent ecu's like autronic and motec can do this properly from the manufacturer but id guess some of the DIY ecu's like megasquirt etc may be able to be configured to do so aswell.
you will need to find a competent tuner to do this accurately and safely. if you have cylinder variences of over 5% get the manifolds and head flowed to suit.

you are running sequential injection i take it ? otherwise how do you plan to adjust each cylinder individualy ?
FWIW
im going to be using exhaust temps for each cylinder on my 4agte shortly.... using the EMS 8860

have fun with it dude, its a PITA to get right even on a top of the line ecu, yes im loyal but its not to say i don't use other ecu's
corolla+3s+EMSstinger=246rwkw
hilux/surf/wreck+1jz+same stinger=282rwkw
as i always say, all brands can work but if you want all the features you gotta spend the dowlahs.
i havn't tried with the 8860 myself but ive heard reports from both independant tuners and EMS themselves saying its not 100% sorted and they need more feedback from ppl.
im just not a fan of using a customers car as a guinea pig, but if it was my personal car then hell yeah.
just wait till you see what happens to some of the 1j's for the rolla, they will be throwing rods just for some destructive testing

ps where have you been hiding? is there a bigger rock in SA somewhere?

as for the ems and ehaust tuning..... yeah i know its not easy to do and can be VERY time consuming but hey you get that.

note: O2 sensors wont survive long at all in a turbo manifold pre-turbo - the temps and gas pressures are too high. Only temp probes will survive.
Megasquirt doesn't do cylinder trim as it's not (yet) 100% sequential.
the plugs are for the pipe that measures AFR on the dyno
maybe overlay each of the AFR maps of the dyno runs and adjust somehow
not mounting full time temp probes or O2 sensors in the t manifold
