Yes and yes. There's little to no advantage getting a manual ECU, the auto ECU will work fine.
If i buy an auto 1JZ-VVTI engine package is it possible to use the 2JZ-GE Flywheel and and W58 on it, (Till i can get a stronger box).
Is the Ecu usable with the usual bridging modifcation? Engine will be in a complete 1/2 cut, plan on getting a manual ecu when i can get one for the right money.

Thanks Norbie. Appreciate it.
Yup, I used a 2JZ-GE bellhousing, and flywheel on my 1JZ-GTE VVTi in the RA23, absolutely no problems.
Cheers Chuck.

Thanks mate, went and looked at an auto 1/2 cut today but had way to many kms 191,000km for the $ they were asking.
It idled and run well though and looked suprisingly clean and tidy for the age..
