    Default 4agte oil pressure problems

Hey guys in the today my car has been running rough on idle the oil pressure gauge usually reads 60 psi but today on a hot day my oil pressure was dropping to 20 psi on idle and when i would drive again it would go back to normal operating pressures , What else i noticed was my oil level gauge in my ae86 was going from 3/4 full to half when the car started to behave like this.. I dont know where to start to be honest , oil pump ? turbo oil feed lines ? oil return ? restrictions in lines ? could it be my oil cooler relocator kit?

i just need to know somewhere to start , this has only happen only and its extremely hot today in syndey.

    Any ideas whats going on?

mine is on 20-30psi on idle when warm, about 60 when driving, and about 80-85 with thrashing it, this is with an oil cooler setup and -10 lines, so sounds normal to me, my car has always been like this, when it's cold - the oil i run - it's abotu 80 on idle.

Yeah mine dropped a bit in the Adelaide heatwave, I figure it's a lot to do with the ambient temps.

more to do with oil temps... oil doesn7t cool as much when ambient is hot..

    what temp is the oil?

maybe.. and this is a long shot.. be nice to the car when it is extremely hot?
