    Default is my ta22 overheating

    Hi,

My ta22 has a stock 2t motor and the temperature reaches 80 degrees Celsius now is this normal temp for a good 2t engine or is the car overheating.
    The engine runs great tho

When I checked the radiator hoses after driving it for about an hour the hoses seemed a tad bit pressurized but this maybe my poor judgement.

I have changed the Thermostat etc will get the radiator reconditioned too soon

But is 80 degrees normal running temp for a 2t motor?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

    Thanks

80 degree's is fine, Don't worry about the hoses being a bit pressurized after you have driven the car, It's nothing to worry about.

the cooling system is designed to be pressurised. it raises the boiling point of the coolant. should be a 14-16psi radiator cap on your engine?

yeah 80c is pretty normal even 90-95ish would be ok, id be worried if it hit 100 degrees though.
