I use Mobil SuperHP, heard good things about it, and its relatively cheap too.
I remember searching the forum on oils to use, and Penrite comes up a lot.
Did a bit of a search and didn't find much. So what oil do you use in which engine and why?
I've been using Penrite HPR30 SAE 20W-60 in my 3/2TG hybrid.
I use it because the guy at the store recommended it. I haven't had any problems with it. I think i could do with a thinner grade though.

our tafe teacher runs penrite in his methanol injected 2t sprint car and he says he wont go past penrite
jeez 20-60 should be religated to model T's and old tanks..
i run 0-40w valvoline in the racecar, mainly coz i get it for bargain basement price from work. cant remember what its called, but the valvoline version of mobil 1.
i run that viscosity to help the car rev, it produces less drag on the engine. the bearing clearances on the 4age are a tad on the tight side, so i know i can get away with it.
in my road cars, i run whatever i can get for free, but i try to keep it around 10-40w ish for good economy. if the oil pressure is low i then top it up with thicker oil
