4AGE Diagnostic Trouble Codes -

Heres some i found so far, these are for smallport 4age, not sure if they are the same for bigport and 20V ?? i kno these may be found on the on forums some where thought it would be handy to have it here

Diagnostic Trouble Codes -
12 Engine RPM Signal.
13 Engine RPM Signal.
14 Ignition Signal.
16 ECT Control Signal.
21 Oxygen Sensor (OS) Signal.
22 Water Temperature Sensor (THW) Signal.
24 Intake Air Temperature Sensor (THA) Signal.
25 Air/Fuel ratio lean.
26 Air/Fuel ratio rich.
27 Sub-oxygen sensor signal.
31 Air Flow Meter Signal.
32 Air Flow Meter Signal.
41 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
42 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Signal.
43 Starter Circuit Signal.
51 Switch Condition Signal.
52 Knock Control Signal.
71 EGR system malfunction.

Toyota 2 diget codes are the same for all models.
Be from a sportivo to a AE82 to a Landcruiser.

not quite.... theres early and late.

and i think the latest generation are different again. i also think you NEED the decoder to get the codes, cant bridge the termanals anymore :S

Yes quite
The early ones are 1 diget codes (and yes are differant)
Most are 2 diget and are all the same.
Even the latest one's you can still get codes from OBD2 with a wire but you need a scan tool to get all the other funky stuff they do like snapshots etc.

yeah im talking about the new hiluxs etc.... it was a while ago when i did the course and i cant recall exactly, i could be mistaken
