i think he means, what do you know you already need to do?
they are similar series engines but very different, and there is a lot that needs to be done.

There is some pertinent information about this in the conversion section; see it here http://toymods.net/forums/showthread...newpost&t=2774
in there (even though it is a different car) it suggests that the camry V6 box is the one to use.
There is a whole lot in any conversion (even the easiest). If you have no clue where to start then maybe it is not for you.
You need a) tools b) an idea c) patience by the shitloads d) a lot more money than you think it might cost. e) you will need to be resourceful (to an extent) make up for any lack of it with sheer tenacity.
Try searching - it's marvellous (the old forums is the place to start). There are many conversions that have been done and no matter the car, the basics are the same.
When you have pulled the engine and box out of the car and you have you next engine sitting in there, it ought to become apparent what is required. The you might have some problems with different "specific problems", that is when you log on here and ask what to do (if you couldn't find the answer when searching).
HOT TIPS - Thank people when they have helped and please don't create multiple threads about the same question (Ala Monster tacho/Camry).
YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

You can use your SV21 box with that engine and then it pretty much bolts in.
Then the harder stuff starts (plumbing, wireing, etc)
Get the "kit" or 1/2 cut from someone that can give you help if you get stuck.
If you want a stronger box later I would suggest the JAP ST204 3SGE box as they have biger shafts, LSD and bolt in with minner mods.
Good luck with it .

PM if you want more advice.
AWD?
They made AWD sv21's?
ok, i suggest youve got plenty enough reading there to do for now...
