I believe so, dunno havent driven it in nearly a month.
you should have sen tme the loom to get wired up
they are very easy to do hehehe
both nissan and toyota have afew ecus that if not wired with a relay on a certain wire will fry the ecu in 2 minutes
its fun when people read the diagrams but dont realise it needs a relay hehehe
Why I should I do something sensible like that when I can stuff simple things up good and proper by myself ???
Anyway - thanks to Clint yet again for his invaluable help - car is 1000% better, I can keep up with the traffic now...
Going to look at the timing belt next to see if I have jumped a cog or two.
Thanks for the rep dude. Does your signature need updating GTE/GZE?Originally Posted by GTtwin
Anyway - no one else will make the number of stupid dumbass mistakes I have made.
This is just a community service annoucement! Cheers.

I'll give you some rep too - especially since I've heard your supercharger belt snapped today on the way up to the cruise - would have been the first time to see you and the RA23 on the road![]()
Loved your story of dramas - believe me, you're not the only one! And I'll try to keep the smilies to a minimum![]()
Bloody High-undies!!!! Before I got my 2TGEU turbo sorted, they used to embarrass me too! One of my motivations for getting things sorted, and if one ever tries it on now - watch-out!!!
Re: the drags and your name on the list, there's another Mitch (with a TA22) who went along. I thought it was you myself, but alas you're not the only Mitch in town![]()
The SPIDA had a good run and did a best 15.3 sec run. I think with some improvements (mainly to driver), that can be bettered.
Catch-up soon.

Thanks mate.
Yes - story of my life - almost making it somewhere and then failing badly at the last minute.
Anyway - another belt change tomorrow and back into the fray I reckon!
Cheers,
Mitch.

Sideshow - yes mate you are right here, but I like to have a go at these sort of things myself - that way I might learn something!.Originally Posted by sideshow
And yes, that was exactly what I did, fried the ECU after 'testing' it with 12v DC direct to see if the S/C switch was working - which it was!
Better call me next time you are in Perth mate - you will spot me from the plane as you are landing - the smoking black and blazing orange RA23 on fire and me adding petrol to the thing !
Cheers,
Mitch.
