stock headgasket from toyota and id say nevo would be the best place to get a pulley from between $400-$550 i believe
Nevo 175mm
new $550
Used $250 to $400
www.nevo.biz
TRD do a steel gasket, in 0.5mm or 0.8mm stock is 1.2 so itll up the compression a bit though
do the abv mod so it gets the full boost
and search around for a falcon pulley for the sc instead of buying a nevo
think its the aircon pulley its the same belt type and itsnt that hard to fit
and cost/performance it wins
or http://nevo.biz/
fear the chicks car
nevo is atleast $550 now
Theres also a kit in america that does 178/180mm
grab an ecu too microtech etc.. it will really open it up.
thanks for the replys, given me some idea of how much.
what price for a microtech ecu?
you can get them for about $1500 installed, well worth the investment though as you can generally see upto 10-20AT the wheels KW figure.

His a favourable tuner in the castle hill area
You'll find that john@nevo is a busy man. He works in Germany but dont let that pull you off. His kits are very good for their price and is garunteed to make you smile when you feel the power and hear that whine!
indeed this is true i made about that with stock boost and without the afm and the pod mounted just off the inlet the whine was very loud it was schweetOriginally Posted by sw20r
NST makes a 180mm pulley. This is likely my next upgrade.

289USD for the entire kit.
The nevo kit is made of a much higher grade aluminum alloy than the NST unit. Don't forget that a standard crank pulley is under plenty of stress. Larger ones experience plenty of load and are prone to failure if not installed correctly.
180mm is getting very much on the large side for a GZE too.

Yeah, don't go getting insane with the pulley sizing, remeber that you're taking the SC out of it's efficiency range. If you want an EA falcon pulley on your stock SC (giving you a 165mm drive and you keep your harmonic balancer), I can machine them on a swapover basis for about $80. I'm using that setup on my SC and it's making 11psi. After that start looking at intercooling and managment. A JayCar fuel/air adjuster is a good place to start if you can't afford the microtech, I'm about to get mine tuned and I'll post up dyno sheets afterwards.

I cracked the centre of my custom 168mm pulley (stock inner steel part with alloy ring fitted)
running 18psi on my AW11, partly by not having the crank bolt torqued enough. I imagine the aluminium would be even easier to wreck this way. Make sure you tighten that bolt up to 110ft-lbs and puts somethreadlock on it!
Cheers, Nick.

Now flogg'n the SC14 @ 18psi....
Bloody hell that's keen...18psi? I assume you're running an SC14?
Come to think of it, I think adam mentioned your car...
