short shiter for w58 will it fit the W58 box out of a 1ggte supra

Hey people, maybe a stupid question but double checking before laying down the cash

Can you please guys tell me if this short shifter will fit the w58. The box came out of a ga70 supra and is going in my soarer. If it fits I will purchase it.

So it should be good...

All internal shifters are compatible but the external ones are different. GA70 = internal, your Soarer = ???.

R154 internal shifter is the same also.

z10+z20 soarer = internal

Just note that some shifters, while they will fit and work, may have a different angle stick. I suspect my W5x short shifter is for an R154, as it is straighter and sits the knob further forward. Either that, or it's designed for a different car.

^^^^ this is true but they can ber bent with a vice and oxy if your careful enough. or just get use to it.

mine was actually too short with the throw being 75mm front-back and side-side so i extended it to be 100mm as it was crunching gears on quick shifts.

Thanks for the info boys and gals, this one is acutally just for a w58 in pre 92 supra and is two inches shorter with a proper mounting...i have pruchase it for 200bux delivered..
