    Default ma61 tail shaft

    Hey all
Does anyone know the length of the ma61 tail shaft rear half. I think they might be solid and not have the rubber dampener built into them like the x73.
Im looking into this as an option as i want to shift kit the 1jz auto but fear the x73 shaft wont stand up to the hard shifts and it will tear the rubber out.

Indeed, plus they have non-serviceable uni's and are generally weak. With a shift kit you might want to upgrade to something a bit stronger, like a shortened Hilux tailshaft.
