    Default 7M CT-26 same as 3SGTE CT-26?

Just wondering if the ct-26 is the same across both engines? May be able to get one cheaply and was just wondering if it will bolt up to my 3S?

165 engines also had a single entry hot side and steel wheels.

7M turbo is similar to the Gen 1 3S turbo but is large in the exhuast area.

165 and 7M turbo are interchangable as they are both single entry and steel , The comp wheel on the 7M is larger , the rear wheels are the same size but the 7m has a larger rear housing , the rear housings are also interchangable between the two as the wheels are the same .

Yep, i'll second that, i've done it on my car before but you will have to modify the wastegate actuator as the mounting on the comp housing and the length of the rod are different.

id offer you mine tooch , if yyou wanted to keep it up to spec - do you still have standard exhaust or not ? ( and do you want to keep yours originalish )

if so - it would be an easy upgrade - though, Gt series turbos are pretty cheap these days to get setup

How much would a 7m ct26 go for usually these days? Assuming still in perfect working condition...

Well the reason I wanted to replace it, was because mine is getting a little smoky. I am pretty sure it's the turbo, was willing to replace it anyhow as its getting old. However, I'm now seriously considering re-borrowing on my loan and going all out with an engine rebuild (forgies, MHG, etc) and a nice shiny garrett turbo
