    Default 2TG HELP no power

just swapped a 2tg into my ta22 and i have wired it all up how i think it should be done al the lights work and evrything inside but i am getting no go from the starter....i tested it and it seems to have power going to it and so does everything else as far as i can see but wen i turn the key i get nothing......

on the starter i have 4 things connected....1st is power on the big bolt in the middle of it....the 2nd is a red wire which is on the same as the 1st accept goes to what i belive is the starter relay(little black box)....3rd is a blue wire connected to the "tab" on the engine side of the starter, this goes to the started relay also.....and 4th is on the little thing on the passenger side of the starter and this wire i belive goes to the coil

also of the started relay theres a green wire which disapears in to the loom and i belive it goes to the ignition maybe and then theres the earth...

does all of that sound right and can anyone give me any help

    PLEASE

    thanks
    Chris

Grab a multimeter or a test light and check which plug to the starter has power when you turn the key to the start positon and make sure that it is connected to the right spot. I am pretty sure that it is just a matter of wires connected in the wrong spot.

You got to make sure the green wire goes to 85 on the relay and the earth goes to 86 then the red wire from the main power wire goes to 30 and the blue wire goes to 87. You should here the relay click when you turn the key to start.

Also try a test light on the blue wire if it has power when you turn the key then you know it's the starter motor if not then work your way back checking the correct terminals are been ues on the relay, Then check the geen wire for power and so on until you find where the problem is.

    Cheers
