    Default subframe bushes on rt142

i've decided its time to do something about the rooted subframe bushings on my irs rt142. Ive heard of removing them completely and running metal on metal, as well as cutting all the bushes in half.
Has anybody done this to their car? any drawbacks i should know of?

They are more than likely the same as MA61, in which case superpro do solid poly ones...

Solid mounting it via plates is an option too...

If you take out the subframe the normal way to go about solid mounting it is to weld on a plates to the top and bottom, so that it isn't just a ring of metal pressing up against the frame... and also so that the nut on the bottom has something to tighten up against

    Hope that makes sense...
