Default Replacing the thrust bearing on the crankshaft (4age)

    Folks

As I pulled my motor down some time ago, I can't locate the original thrust bearing(s) that were on the number 3 cap.

Is it possible to replace them (as you would the standard bearings on your big ends) at rebuild time? Or are they one size only as my tech docs say to replace the crank if there is too much end play?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

Replace? Yes, of course, whether it's separate or part of a main so you'd have to get the whole set.
Some have over-sizes, OEM & after-market, some don't. Those that are separate from the mains can be easily shimmed .
