Hi all,

I currently have an opportunity to buy a very cheap new in box mtx8 (yes I know it's an old model, did I mention cheap?). Problem is, it's mapped for a 1GGTE and I run a 7MGTE. The guy selling it has advertised it as being able to run both. What's the likelihood of this?

i dont remember if the 1ggte has coil packs like the 7mgte does though

It doesn't. 1G = single coil + dizzy.

I wouldn't touch it, unless you plan on converting to 7MGE dizzy/coil.


However, I know someone with a 1GGTE who might want to give it a try.
