hey just a note to say that this car needs to be dropped on its guts. keep a simple m motor in it and spend on bags and stuff then have a pimpin cruiser.
that is my 2 cents!!

.. I swear I'll keep this car for longer than 12 months.
glad i could be of assistance to the bagging of it. the only thing that would be better than your car on bags is a wagon of the same model on bags

I purchased a twin pack of Hot 4's last week coz one of my mates friends trucks featured in it. It ended up being a good buy for $8.95 which included 2 magazines and a DVD.
Included was the December issue which gave me an article and the estimated prices and bits and pieces that I might be looking at when I do an engine conversion. Roughly around 8k, which I have been notified through some of you guys! It doesn't seem too bad, still in budget - and I'm sure that there will be some people I know who can shave the prices a tad
I think it's a sign.

That would be drive in and drive out for something very straight forward.
And no extra's or problems and most likely not for a Non efi Car being converted to EFI !Originally Posted by gianttomato

Yeah it was a decent read, it gave a listing to most of what you would be expected to buy and rough estimates of prices. I have to get it.. tuned!?

Oh yeah....the extras just add up....and being a 40 series Crown, there will be nothing off the shelf. All fabbed up at $60+/hour labour plus parts and materials.Originally Posted by TheToyman75
Like I suggested earlier, you'll do well to keep the 2M in good running order. Research extensively, keep your eye out for bargains and slowly accumulate bits as they appear.
Star,
Just sent you a pm about a MA71 Supra i have for sale that might make a perfect conversion package if you like the 7MGTE idea.
Cheers

Cheers mate! I actually bought this a few months ago from a dude in the gong. Not sure if it was also advertised on eBay.
I've currently got a 1JZ (?) that could possibly be mine if circumstances fall my way, Thanks for the advice and I'll do some more research on that aswell..
Now knowing some more info about conversions, I sorta have a round about figure in my head to save up to and what to look out for, but asalways am looking for the most cost effective and moeny saving solotion!
