Default CCG Gundaroo Run - Sunday 2 March 2008

The Sund'y Gundy Run. Watch for details but basically a run up the highway, through Sutton to Gundaroo, morning tea, then home the back way (yes there is some dirt and a dip that WILL get you airborne if your not careful ) for a BBQ lunch and mayhap a quite cleansing ale.

    Proudly orchestrated by....Matt L & Casey!!!!

Sounds good to me. Do you mind if I'm in the Liberty though? Celica's not registered ATM...

I drove out there last Sunday after lunch at the Poachers Pantry and we did the whole drive without going on dirt*. You can choose to go on the dirt though and cut a few km's off here and there

Federal Hwy -> Sutton Road -> Stop at Gundaroo for tea and scones -> Sutton Rd -> Murrumbateman Rd -> Nanima Rd -> Barton Hwy.

Just in case anyone is worried that the dirt can't be avoided

Hopefully the rolla is back on the road for this one

*Except for the driveway to the restaurant which was dirt.

Definately come along Nark.....even in Berty. Its been a long time since we caught up!

I vote for no dirt for poor lil Tweety as I hate cleaning my air filter!

Cmon Shane you can get the Green Hornet back on the road again by then.
    Cheers

haha. A lil bit of show and a lil bit of go....and no dirt = happy me.

If I tried to do a Kahna etc in Tweety it would crap itself. Dont know many people that drive their car as a daily for the last 10 years and also do track events etc. So Im more than happy to drive Tweety EVERY day and just watch all the tuff cars strut their stuff.

My fav event is just the humble cruise...so lets go to Gunny!
    cheers

Sorry fellas I'm out. Got the in-laws coming down from Sydney for a visit. Yay...

It's a shame 'coz I haven't been on a cruise for ages. I'm really itching for a drive.

Right, well...I tried to get in contact with the cafe, the wine bar and the pub and it seems that none of them will be open for morning tea...lunch yes, but not before hand.

    SO...

We can either do the run to Gundaroo, bringing our own morning tea, or go to a another town that actually wakes up before midday.

Ok Guys, Casey and I had a talk last night at the Sterring & Suspension night (bloody good night it was too) and we are going to push the TIME back by a few hours so we can do the counter lunch thing at the pub.

We will be meeting at the same place as the Summer Nats meet up - road/area between the new Parliament House and the old Parliament House - at 11am.

Leave at no later than 11:30am.

Straight up the middle of town out onto the Federal Highway, turn left and head for Sutton, through Sutton until we hit Gundaroo and a counter lunch.

I'll be ringing the pub to warn them we are coming so a rough idea on numbers would be nice please.

    Cheers,
    Matt
