    Default AE82 Thermos staying on

hey guys, does anyone have any idea where i could download a good workshop manual with wiring diagrams for a AE82 4AGE. I have a Haynes repair manual, but its shit, and doesnt have wiring diagrams that show you all the electrical componets in the diagrams..
Or has anyone had the thermos staying on all the time, i wouldnt normally care because at least my car is getting cooled, but it takes power away from my battery all the time..
    Please help!!!

Check the plug ontop of the thermo switch in the thermostat housing. If its not making good contact the circuit will be grounded and your thermo will stay on.

or the thermo switch could be fuxed. toyota designed it that way to prevent overheating if the switch stopped working.. good idea eh?

    I concur.

At 90deg iirc the thermoswitch will switch to ground, closing your fan relay, and turning the fans on. When they die they just constantly ground. Similar to that of a worn out thermostat staying open.
