what crosss-member and modifications to sump if any were required, did you have to do anything to the steering?
fantastic choice of engine, very unique.

volvo 240 diff. CHEAP<>A:READY HAS DISC's WITH TWIN PISTOM CALIPERS, AND DAMN SOLID! (DANA 30 is the diff name, factory in some 4wd's also, jeeps,)

did i mention cheap? $100 complete, compared to $500 for a hilux or F series to suit and did i mention it has disc also? no need to spend another $500 converting drum to disc!

    (volvo diff is my campaign)

    blake

nah no mods to steering used original crossmember with custom mounts.

passenger side was a mitsubishi triton and drivers was a mitsubishi galant reversed. but im ot happy with these as they shuddered a fair bit on the first trial startups.. so lookin to get complete customs done

Thumbs up for engine choice. I have had a play round with its little brother the 4g61 and they are a nice little motor. The head is not quite as simple as a 3s but it looks just as well engineered. Good luck with it!

after nearly 3 years im back, after a shonky business partner lost nearly everything, including my convertible celica,

finally, i now have another ra23, and yes work has started to get this one finished with a 4g63.. its actually alot easier seeing that i had sourced most of the info and parts in the previous build..

just wondering if anybody else has attempted it yet.. or am i still an original
also if anybody has seen some interiour around plese give me a yell

good to be back, wish me luck

4g63 or variants of it into othr cars but I havn't heard of a celica conversion. You should do a rack and pinion conversion while your at it to, I can explain by PM how it's done.

depending on parts availability and how relitively "straight forward it is.. sounds like a plan.. please if you can spare the time to PM it to me, that wouldbe great, and thank you.
